Lots of people have already pointed out the importance of Molly’s involvement, Sherlock acting out of character with the crying and actually making phone calls and taking a moment to himself, and also that he tells John to stay put etc, but I also think it might be a clue that John was made to think Mrs. Hudson was hurt and she wasn’t. There would have been easier ways to get John to leave… so what does Mrs. Hudson know? I have an odd feeling there is a clue there.

Also I came into possession of several audiobooks narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch, including Kafka’s Metamorphoses (Vaughn is a huge Kafka nerd and we have decided that severe European voices make for the best Kafka listening, such as Lotte Lenya), so if any of you want those let me know.

But as to Sherlock, the brilliant twist in this version is not that he survives but that they reinvented how. What’re your theories?
